Heat and humidity continue into the early part of the week. Showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall of 2-4+ inches in some locations is possible later today and into this evening. Although breezy conditions return to the area, recent rainfall and humidity limits widespread concerns. Periodic storm chances continue through early this week.
