Northwest winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph this afternoon as the relative humidity falls to 15 to 25 percent. Overall greenness is fairly high across the area, however warm season grasses continue to lag in greening up and may be susceptible to spread this afternoon. Thus, elevated fire weather concerns are anticipated for these areas this afternoon and evening. Otherwise dry conditions are expected for the next several days with a warming trend next week. Monday and Tuesday next week should see windy conditions and warm temperatures.
