Rangeland Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD
250 PM CDT Tue Oct 27 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather continues for the remainder of this afternoon and
evening. Marginally breezy winds will become light to light and
variable overnight. Surface conditions are still damp from recent
rains, with minimum relative humidity values greater than 65%. As
such, fire danger will continue to be low into Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon chances for rain return, with additional
chances Friday into early next week. Minimum relative humidity
remains high through this period, and so fire danger should remain
low.
