Rangeland Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD
345 PM CST Tue Nov 11 2025

.DISCUSSION...

High temperatures have warmed to the 50s to a few 60s across the
area this afternoon. While some gusts are exceeding 25 mph, humidity
values remain at and above 30%. Thus, low to slightly elevated fire
danger is expected for the next few hours before sunset.
Temperatures will remain in the 50s and 60s through the middle of
the week while humidity and winds do not reach critical thresholds.
This will keep low fire danger in place. Things begin to change on
Friday as highs warm to the 60s and 70s. Humidity values look to
fall to around 30% at the lowest while breezy winds make a comeback.
This looks to lead to elevated fire danger across the area. Similar
conditions are on the table for Saturday, continuing elevated fire
danger across the area.
