Highs will remain above normal in the upper 80s to lower 90s with less cloud cover present compared to yesterday, while an anomalously strong upper- level ridge continues to amplify to our west. Overnight lows will be in the 60s with a smattering of 50s in outlying areas. -Stalley && .LONG TERM... /Issued 101 AM CDT Thu Oct 9 2025/ /Friday Onward/ Drier air will continue to advect in from the east heading into the upcoming weekend, sending dewpoints in the the 50s and even upper 40s. This could culminate in an increase in wildfire activity given the resultant low humidity and increasingly dried fuels. While modest wind speeds may temper this threat on Friday and Saturday, breezier conditions are forecast on Sunday while RH remains low and temperatures climb above normal. An increase in humidity and cloud cover should occur heading into next week, but rain chances will remain absent as upper ridging prevails aloft.
