The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Anderson County in central Texas...
  Central Freestone County in central Texas...

* Until 1100 AM CDT.

* At 919 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have
  fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Palestine, Fairfield, Elkhart, Montalba, Fairfield Lake, Fairfield
  Lake State Park, Richland-Chambers Reservoir, Brushy Creek,
  Poynor, Johnson, Tennessee Colony, Massey Lake, Tucker, Blackfoot,
  Bethel, Bois D`arc, Red Lake, Yard, Cedar Creek and Springfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
