The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Johnson County in north central Texas...
  Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* Until 930 AM CST.

* At 623 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
  1 to 2 inches are forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless,
  Bedford, Haltom City, Hurst, Burleson, Cleburne, Watauga,
  Benbrook, Saginaw, White Settlement, Crowley, Forest Hill,
  Richland Hills, River Oaks and Kennedale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
