.DISCUSSION...
An uptick in wildfire activity may occur heading into the
upcoming weekend as RH values dip to near or below 30% each
afternoon Friday through Sunday. ERC values will also exceed the
50th and in some areas even 75th percentiles due to the recent dry
spell. While wind speeds will be fairly modest through Saturday,
they will increase slightly by Sunday which could cause the fire
threat to become elevated while temperatures remain 5-10 degrees
above normal.
