.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry weather will continue for the next several days with
triple-digit high temperatures and little/no chance for rainfall.
RH values will be low during this time period, and predominantly
in the 20s each afternoon. However, wind speeds are expected to
remain around 10-15 mph or less through most of the upcoming week
which should keep the fire weather threat from reaching elevated or
critical levels. These low RH values will combine with increasingly
dry fuels to support an uptick in initial attack wildfire
activity over the next few days, but growth/spread should tend to
be limited by the modest wind speeds.
