Relatively light wind speeds will keep the fire weather threat
below elevated levels for the next several days. However, there
will continue to be concerns for wildfire starts due to the very
hot temperatures, very dry fuels, and low relative humidity. Most
locations will remain rain-free for the next week, but there will
be a low chance for showers and storms today and tomorrow, mainly
during the afternoon and evening. Gusty winds will be the main
hazard in/near any storms. Lightning could also ignite additional
wildfires across the region.
