.DISCUSSION...
Fire threat will be elevated for areas along and west of the I-35
corridor in addition to areas along and north of the I-20
corridor. This will be driven by continued dried fuels, min RH of
25-35%, and south/southwesterly winds sustained at 10-15 mph.
Monday afternoon will be the windiest of the three days with gusts
20-25 mph possible. Fire concerns will remain low across portions
of the Brazos Valley where winds will be weaker (5-10 mph),
humidity will be higher (min RH 35-50%) and fuel moisture is
greater. These general conditions are expected to continue
throughout the upcoming week.
