.DISCUSSION...
The fire weather threat will remain low across North and Central
Texas. Widespread light rain was observed over the region the last
48 hours, contributing to an increase in fuel moisture.
The next opportunity for precipitation will arrive late Monday
into Tuesday as a cold front sweeps across the region. Showers and
storms will accompany the front, some of which could be strong to
severe. The front will drive precipitation east of our region by
Tuesday afternoon, however, much cooler weather is expected behind
the front. Highs will remain in the 70s by the middle of the week
with minimum relative humidity values above 40%.
