.DISCUSSION...
Hot and mostly dry conditions will persist through the week with
temperatures near 100 degrees and minimum afternoon RH around 30%.
Southerly winds will remain relatively light through the week but
speeds will increase by Friday into next weekend. Rain and storm
chances will remain low (generally 10% or less) but a slight
uptick in coverage is expected on Thursday. The overall fire
weather threat will continue to remain elevated given the extended
period of dry weather and well above normal temperatures.
