.DISCUSSION...
Hot and rain-free weather will continue this weekend and into
next week. Wind speeds will be lighter for the next few days which
should prevent the fire threat from reaching elevated levels.
However, RH values will be lower from Sunday into early next week,
mainly ranging from 20-30% each afternoon. This will continue to
support wildfire ignitions in the presence of dry fuels and
worsening drought conditions. No rainfall is forecast through the
next several days, and the earliest that rain chances could
return would be late next week or weekend.
