An elevated grassfire threat will exist west of I-35 Sunday
afternoon as winds increase to 10-15 mph with gusts around 20-25
mph. Otherwise, winds will remain light today and throughout the
upcoming week. A few fire starts can`t be ruled out throughout the
week thanks to drying fuels, above normal temperatures, and
afternoon humidity near 25-30%. However, the light winds will keep
any fire weather concerns to a minimum.
