.DISCUSSION...
There will be a window Wednesday afternoon with a slight increase
in fire threat. This comes with post-frontal winds out of
the north increasing from diurnal mixing to 10-15 mph with gusts
up to 25 mph. The gustiest winds will be across portions of the
Big Country. This will also coincide with the lower RH values
tomorrow afternoon, with values dropping into the mid and
upper-20s west of the I-35 corridor. Fortunately, fuel dryness and
ERC (Energy Release Component) will be low and precludes any
genuine fire weather concerns at this time.
Fire threat will remain low Thursday into the weekend with the
return of low-level moisture from the south and weak winds
generally around or under 10 mph.
