.DISCUSSION...
Hot and mostly dry conditions will prevail over the next 7 days,
leading to further drying of fine fuels region-wide. We cannot
rule out some isolated showery development early this morning in
portions of Central Texas as moisture from TD Bertha spreads
north, but much of this activity will remain to our south. With
hot and dry conditions continuing early next week, particularly
out west of I-35 where afternoon RH drops to around 25-30% each
day, we may start to see easier fire starts. However, modest winds
will help to preclude an increased fire weather threat for now.
