Very hot temperatures with low humidity will continue today and
through much of this week. High temperatures will reach or exceed
100 each afternoon while RH values mostly fall into the 20s. This
low humidity in conjunction with dry fuels will continue to aid in
ignition of some initial attack wildfire activity, but modest wind
speeds will tend to limit rapid spread of grass fires and will
prevent the fire threat from reaching elevated levels. Most areas
will remain rain-free for the next 7-10 days.
