.DISCUSSION...
The fire weather threat will remain elevated due to little to no
rainfall, above normal temperatures and dry fuels. Afternoon
temperatures will be in the mid 90s to around 100 degrees each
day. Minimum afternoon relative humidity will be in the mid to
upper 30% with southerly winds between 10-15 mph.
Low rain chances will arrive Sunday afternoon and evening as a
cold front stalls across Oklahoma. The front may gradually shift
south through the first half of the week, introducing near daily
low storm chances through the middle of next week. Widespread
precipitation is not expected, therefore, the fire weather threat
will continue.
