.DISCUSSION...
Continued hot and mostly dry weather will keep an elevated threat
for fire weather across the region through the week. With
temperatures in the upper 90s to around 102 and afternoon relative
humidity in the mid 30%, IA type fires will continue to be a
threat. Heading into next week, expect a slight uptick in wind
speed which will translate to a higher risk for not only fire
starts but some degree of spread. Expect additional details in the
next few days.
