.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to prevail most
of the day Saturday in the vicinity of the event site. It will
not be raining at every hour of the day, but there will be a
60-70% chance for rain from Saturday morning into early Saturday
evening. Lightning activity will be lower during the morning hours
with that potential ticking up during the afternoon. The severe
weather threat is also low, but we cannot rule out one or two
stronger storms capable of producing heavy downpours and gusty
downburst winds, especially during the afternoon. Otherwise,
expect morning temperatures in the 70s to rise into the low to mid
80s during the afternoon with a light south breeze prevailing
throughout the day when not beneath any thunderstorms.
