.DISCUSSION...
The peak temperature of around 100 has been reached, with an
afternoon humidity minimum of between 30-35% currently being
observed at nearby observation sites. Expect southerly winds
around 15-20 mph to prevail through tonight, with gusts closer to
25-30 mph. No sudden wind shifts are anticipated at this time. The
rest of this evening into the overnight hours, expect
temperatures to drop into the mid 70s while humidity is able to
recover to 92%. A slightly less breezy day is expected tomorrow,
with speeds around 10-15 mph gusting to around 20 mph. Afternoon
highs on Friday will peak in the upper 90s while humidity drops to
near 40%.
