.DISCUSSION...
Another day of slightly elevated fire threat is expected today.
South winds will be sustained at 5 to 10 mph with occasional gusts
to 15 mph (most likely time for gusts will be between 1 PM and 9
PM). Humidity will start out near 70% this morning and drop to a
minimum of 25-30% this afternoon/evening. The timing to expect
these lowest RH values will be between 3 PM and 8 PM when
temperatures will be near 100 degrees. Tomorrow will see nearly
identical weather conditions with south winds at around 10 mph and
humidity dropping into the 25-35% range during the afternoon and
evening hours. Tomorrow after 4 PM, there will be a very low
(~10%) chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm.
