...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...

* WHAT...Significant icing. Additional ice accumulations around a
  light glaze.

* WHERE...Freestone, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, and Van Zandt
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree
  limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages. Very
  slippery sidewalks as well as slick roads, bridges and overpasses
  are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The bulk of the heavy precipitation is coming
  to an end, however, impacts to travel and infrastructure will
  continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel is strongly discouraged. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
Prepare for possible power outages. The latest road conditions can

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch, mainly
  along the Red River.

* WHERE...North Texas

* WHEN...Until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
  down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Plan on
  slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The bulk of the heavy precipitation is coming
  to an end, however, impacts to travel and infrastructure will
  continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be found at drivetexas.org.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
