.DISCUSSION...
Synoptic Setup:

Zonal flow in place over the region will remain in place through
Friday. An upper disturbance will move in Friday night as a
surface low moves east through the area. Rising heights ahead of
this low will allow for warming temperatures Friday and Saturday.
Clouds departing early Friday should allow the sun Friday
afternoon to warm things up. Temps should be about 5 to 15 degrees
warmer than today with highs from the mid 60s northeast to the
upper 70s southwest. With a warm front moving east through the
area, winds will switch from the SE to the West and decrease.

On Saturday, the upper flow turns NW with a weak (1023mb) surface
high dropping SE across the area. This will allow for sunshine and
a lighter wind, but slightly cooler than Friday.

The surface high then moves to our east with a surface low
developing over southern Alberta Sunday night. The pressure
gradient will allow for increased S and SE winds with them peaking
Sunday night.

Another warm front moves east through the area Monday and winds
once again turn West. With abundant sunshine, temps should reach
the 70s and 80s. This should be the warmest day of the forecast
period.

About Tuesday, a trough or cool front will be moving through. Look
for highs to be a little cooler with temps reaching the 70s.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
The NBM seemed to handle all elements well today, so no changes
were made. TFJ
