.DISCUSSION...
Upper trough will continue to push through the northern Plains
today while the Colorado low lifts toward the western Great Lakes.
This will gradually pull the rain eastward out of eastern Montana
through the afternoon.

An upper ridge then builds across the northern Rockies and into
the plains before another Pacific low under cuts it. With the
ridge in place, dry weather and slightly warmer temperatures are
expected through the remainder of the week.
