Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Glasgow MT
1044 AM MST Thu Nov 5 2026

.KEY MESSAGES...

- Low clouds and patchy fog are expected for portions of the area
  through noon before dissipating.

- Seasonable temperatures are expected to continue for the next
  several days.

- Temperatures will warm by Sunday across NE Montana as high
temperatures push into the 50s and 60s.

.DISCUSSION...
The fog is slowly dissipating across the area in river basins. A
light west wind tonight will most likely keep the fog at bay.

Look for seasonable weather to continue before an upper trough
approaches the region to finish out the week along with a surface
cold front. Ensembles continue to keep much of the QPF southwest
of the CWA. Thus, will maintain a dry forecast for now.

Over the weekend, upper ridging looks to rebound with dry weather
conditions and warming temperatures. Highs across NE Montana for
Sunday will reach into the 50s and 60s. This will be short lived
however, as the next cold front will bring in breezy conditions
Sunday night and cooler temperatures for Monday.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

NBM held the line for this forecast cycle with mostly dry weather
conditions and little in the way of major temperature swings, save
for warmer temperatures on Sunday. Therefore, little in the way in
deviation was needed.
