.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

- Warm and dry conditions last through Wednesday. A more active
  weather pattern begins Wednesday night.

- A cold front Thursday night will bring the next chance for
strong to severe thunderstorms to the region.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

Zonal flow remains in place through Tuesday with dry conditions
and slightly above average temperatures being the main impact. A
quick moving ridge moves through on Wednesday. This will be
followed by a trough moving into the Pacific Northwest bringing a
change to unsettled weather with rain and thunderstorm chances
beginning Wednesday night. Thunderstorms could become strong to
severe on Thursday as a cold front pushes through. A much cooler
day behind the front will occur on Friday with below average
temperatures and a few post frontal showers possible. Things dry
out Saturday with another chance of rain moving in on Sunday
afternoon.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

Continued to use a blend of the NBM90/NBM for winds this afternoon
through tomorrow. Even with this blend, winds stay just below Lake
Wind Criteria so didn`t issue any advisories for the Lake for the
rest of the day.
