Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northeast Montana
National Weather Service Glasgow MT
242 AM MDT Wed May 29 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Warm conditions expected today as the upper ridge breaks down and
a cold front moves across the region. This front will trigger
strong to severe thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
High confidence (70-90%) exists for wetting rains with this event
near the North Dakota border where the strongest storms are
expected. Cool and wet conditions linger into Thursday. Then a
warming trend is expected into the weekend with occasional showers
and thunderstorms.
