* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Phillips County in northeastern Montana...
  Petroleum County in northeastern Montana...
  Southwestern Garfield County in northeastern Montana...

* Until 800 PM MDT.

* At 657 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 12 miles south of Zortman to 8 miles east of
  Melstone, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Observed 59 mph wind gust at Winnett DOT site at 645 PM
           MDT.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sand Springs, Fourchette, Devils Creek Rec Area, U L Bend Rec Area,
  Edwards, Mosby, Crooked Creek Rec Area, Petrolia Lake, Sun Prairie,
  Valentine, Steve Fork, and Cat Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
