.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorm chances will continue on across
the area today and tonight, with the overall best chances looking to
be focused across central and southern portions of the forecast area.
A surface cold front continues to sink south across the area early
this morning, with models showing it clearing our area to the south
by mid-morning. Behind this front, winds today will remain
northeasterly...on the breezy side this morning, with speeds
diminishing through the afternoon hours. Following temps in the 80s
to near 100 on Monday, highs today are notably cooler...forecast to
top out in the mid 60s-low 70s.
