.DISCUSSION...
There is limited concern for fire weather in the next few days.
Temperatures in the 80s today with dewpoints in the mid 50s to mid
60s may let afternoon relative humidity values fall as low as
35-50%. Higher pressure this morning has led to light to calm winds.
Winds out of the south to southeast later today, however, should
speed up this afternoon with gusts as high as 20-25MPH possible
across locations mainly near or northwest of the Tri-Cities.
Increasing temperatures (mid 80s to low 90s highs) and humidity (mid
60s to low 70s dewpoints) should keep afternoon RH values above
(40-60%). The southerly winds could peak in the day between 15-20MPH
with gusts as high as 30-40MPH possible, especially across portions
of the area north of I-80.
