This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Thunderstorms are possible late tonight. A few of these storms
could be severe, mainly for areas west of Highway 183. The
strongest storms will be capable of producing wind gusts to 60mph
and hail to the size of quarters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms are possible across portions of the area Monday and
Tuesday, mainly during the evening and overnight hours. A few of
these storms may have the ability to become strong to severe
capable of damaging wind gusts and large hail.

Temperatures will climb well above normal Friday into next
weekend with heat index values around 100 degrees possible across
portions of the area.

Spotters are encouraged to pass along any reports of strong wind
gusts and hail of any size.
