This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Early this morning, scattered thunderstorms will continue to
work their way east across portions of north central Kansas.
Severe weather is not expected. A Flood Advisory remains in effect
until 9 AM this morning for portions of Phillips County.

After midnight tonight into early Friday morning, additional
chances for thunderstorms will move into portions of the outlook
area generally south of Highway 6 and into north central Kansas.
Severe weather is not anticipated at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Generally low thunderstorm chances continue into part of the day
on Friday, with additional chances returning Friday evening into
the overnight hours...and again Saturday evening and overnight.
There is some uncertainty with the coverage and location of these
storms, but there would be the potential for some to be strong to
marginally severe.

Overall low confidence periodic thunderstorm chances remain in the
forecast Sunday on through Wednesday.

During the afternoon and early evening hours starting Saturday and
continuing through Wednesday, hotter temperatures and heat index
values are forecast to spread across the area. The overall highest
heat index values are current forecast Monday through Wednesday,
with values near 100 to 105 degrees possible.
