This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Kansas, along with south central Nebraska counties south of
Interstate 80.

.DAY ONE...Overnight.

Most of the area stands at least a slight chance of thunderstorms
at some point through sunrise Saturday morning, with the overall-
highest chances and coverage favoring counties along and
especially south of the Nebraska-Kansas border.

Most thunderstorm that develop tonight will be fairly weak, but a
few strong to perhaps marginally-severe storms cannot be ruled
out prior to 4 AM. The main threats with any potentially strong
to severe storms will be hail up to around quarter size, and/or
wind gusts as high as 50-60 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

- Saturday-Saturday night thunderstorm potential:
Although they should be on the weaker side, a few spotty
thunderstorms remain possible after sunrise Saturday morning
mainly within north central Kansas, with additional small chances
for storms then returning to far western portions of our forecast
area very late Saturday night into Sunday morning (mainly for
areas west of a line from Lexington Nebraska to Plainville
Kansas).

- Sunday-Sunday night thunderstorm potential:
Most of our area stands at least a slight chance of thunderstorms
at some point Sunday daytime into Sunday night, but nothing severe is
anticipated.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any hail or wind gusts 50 MPH
or higher that might occur overnight.
