This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Storms are possible tonight across most of the outlook area. Some
of these storms may be strong to marginally severe, mainly
impacting areas west of Highway 281. Hail up to the size of
quarters and wind gusts up to 60 mph will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms are possible areawide Monday night with strong to
severe storms becoming more of a threat. The main threats with
these storms will be hail up to ping pong ball size and wind gusts
up to 70 mph.

Strong to severe storms will again be possible Tuesday morning and
again Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. Damaging winds and
large hail will be the main threats with these storms.

Temperatures will climb well above normal Friday and Saturday with
temperatures and heat index values near and above 100 degrees.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...Spotters are encouraged to pass
along any reports of strong wind gusts and hail of any size.
