This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

A few thunderstorms developing just northwest of the area this
evening may approach and enter a few portions of the area between
mainly 7PM and 11PM. A Marginal Risk is in place for areas mainly
along and west of Highway 281. The strongest storms could
produce wind gusts of 50 to 60 MPH. Most storms should remain
sub-severe or may be in the process of decaying.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Most of the upcoming work week will be on the dry side, but there
are some low end thunderstorm chances Monday through Wednesday
nights. A better chance for thunderstorms will come with the next
cold front sometime next weekend.

Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees will be possible for
portions of the area Thursday and Friday afternoons.
