This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday afternoon, heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees
will be possible across portions of the forecast area, mainly
along and south of a line from Beaver City to Beloit.

Between Tuesday and Sunday, there are various, intermittent
chances for thunderstorms for various parts of our forecast area.

At this time, some of the most widespread coverage of storms is
expected during the Tuesday evening through Wednesday night time
frame. During the evening and overnight hours both days, there
will be the potential for strong to severe storms, with damaging
wind gusts, heavy rainfall rates, and large hail the primary
hazards.
