...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM MDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Grand County in east central Utah...
* WHEN...Until 715 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some
low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 414 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Between 0.3 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Tenmile Canyon, Little Grand Wash, Dry Fork, Tenmile Wash and
Horseshoe Canyon.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Southwestern Grand County, West of Highway
191 to the Green River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
