...REPLACES FLOOD ADVISORY...
* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is occurring. Reports of mudslide on Interstate 70 near
Dowds Junction.
* WHERE...East Central Eagle County in west central Colorado, along
Interstate 70 from mile marker 165 to 175...
* WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding over roadways and Interstate 70 is imminent or
occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 506 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between
0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Avon, Vail, Minturn, Edwards, Eagle-Vail and Dowd.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
