.DISCUSSION...Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will
develop this afternoon favoring the Uinta Mountains in Utah and the
Colorado mountains along the the Divide with fewer storms over the
other higher terrain of Colorado. Stronger winds this afternoon
ahead of a cold front moving in from the northwest will gust 25 to
35 mph across northeastern Utah and northwestern Colorado. Thursday
and Friday will see light winds and isolated afternoon showers and
thunderstorms along the Divide. Isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms return to the region through the weekend into next
week with breezy west winds.
