.DISCUSSION...A push of increased moisture into the region will
bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms to the region
favoring the southern mountains, but increasingly scattered across
the higher terrain to the north Wednesday into the latter half of
the week. Due to the dry lower layers, strong outflow gusts 40-50
mph and areas of dry lightning will continue to be a threat from
these storms, and . Chances for wetting rain increase later in the
week, but remain generally low except in the Uintas and the
southern mountains.
