.DISCUSSION...Coverage of showers and thunderstorms increase today
through Saturday favoring the higher terrain and the southern
mountains. Primary threats continue to be lightning and strong
outflow winds gusting over 50 mph. Today will see more localized
areas of near critical fire weather conditions, but with the
increasing moisture, these areas will be more limited. Conditions
dry out again Sunday into next week with a return of near critical
fire weather conditions Monday onwards.
