Hot and dry conditions are expected to continue across the
region. Widespread critical fire weather conditions are not
expected to develop today. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are
expected on the terrain today and beyond. The threat for dry
lightning continues today, but begins to diminish later in the
week with additional moisture increasing wetting rain chances.
Gusty outflow winds around storms will continue to pose challenges
to fire crews.
