.DISCUSSION...Last day with temperatures 10 degrees above normal
to exacerbate the dry conditions. Expect isolated showers and
thunderstorms over the higher terrain along and south of I-70 with
more scattered coverage over the San Juans and the Uintas. Deeper
monsoonal moisture returns Saturday onward bringing widely
scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms to the
region daily with more widespread coverage over the higher
terrain. There will be increased chances for wetting rain and
increased risks for flooding and debris flows on fire scars.
