Showers and thunderstorms will form on the mountains again this
afternoon. Some wetting rain is expected, along with gusty outflow
winds and brief downpours. Hot and dry conditions return Friday
and beyond, with temperatures expected to trend 5 to 10 degrees
over normal. Localized critical fire weather will develop this
weekend and beyond as relative humidities return to critical
values and afternoon winds produce critical fire weather
conditions.
