Thunderstorms and rain showers are expected again today. Storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Localized flash flooding is possible in saturated areas affected by recent rainfall, including burn scars, slot canyons, arroyos, and dry washes. Showers and storms will quickly taper this evening and dry conditions return overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. A drying trend begins Saturday with flash flooding not likely. Showers remain in the forecast on the terrain. Temperatures begin to warm back up to climatological normals Sunday and remain there into next week. Warmer and dry conditions continue early next week, with some additional precipitation possible mid week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time, but any rainfall measurements and/or reports of flash flooding would be welcome. $$
