Strong winds gusting 30-40 mph will impact travel across the northern and central Colorado high country with blowing and drifting snow. Lesser amounts are expected across the southern mountains but some impact to travel over Highway 550 is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. The northern and portions of the central Colorado mountains are likely to see additional periods of light snow showers Monday with a passing disturbance, and a more significant storm system Tuesday through Thursday produce moderate to heavy snow showers. Be prepared for impacts to travel over the Rabbit Ears and Vail Passes at times. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction. $$
