Expect widespread showers and thunderstorms south of the I-70 corridor with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to the north. Threats from these storms are gusty winds, lightning and periods of heavy rain leading to localized flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Widespread showers and thunderstorms continue across the region Saturday with storm tapering off across the southern mountains Sunday. These showers and thunderstorms will decrease Monday, becoming more isolated to scattered across the region through mid next week. Late in the week looks to have another uptick in showers and thunderstorms. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however spotters are encouraged to relay rainfall amounts or any observed flooding to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction. $$
