...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTY
THROUGH 145 PM MDT...

At 111 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles southwest of Meeker, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meeker.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 23 and 45.
 Colorado 64 between mile markers 72 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
