synopsis
Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms continue today and
tonight across eastern Utah and Western Colorado. Heavy rain, lightning and
hail are the primary threats with these storms with flash flooding
possible, especially on the new fire scars across the region. THe heavy
cloud cover and shower activity will keep temperatures cool, about five
degrees below normal for late August. After today, conditions will start to
dry out through the work week and into the weekend.
